1. 12-month warranty
All products sold by Hapi Auto are covered by a 12-month warranty from delivery date, against manufacturing defects or non-conformity to the description. This warranty is in addition to the statutory quality warranty under the Quebec Civil Code.
2. What is covered
- Material or manufacturing defects
- Non-conformity to the product page (dimensions, listed compatibility)
- Anomalies revealed by normal use
3. What is not covered
- Normal wear (pads, wipers, bulbs, etc.)
- Damage from improper or non-professional installation
- User modifications
- Accidents, negligence, abuse
- Commercial or competitive use unless explicitly authorized
4. How to activate the warranty
- Contact customer service within 12 months: 418 559-6860 or garantie@hapi-auto.ca.
- Provide your order number (HA-XXXX-XXXX) and a defect description with photos if possible.
- We evaluate within 3 business days and issue a return authorization (RMA).
- You return the product in its packaging. If the warranty applies, return shipping is on us.
- We replace the product or refund the amount paid, at our discretion.
5. Manufacturer-specific warranties
Some manufacturers offer longer warranties (24, 36 or 60 months). When that's the case it is listed on the product page and we walk you through the claim with the manufacturer.
6. Canadian statutory warranties
Independently of our commercial warranty:
- In Quebec: statutory quality warranty under articles 1726-1731 of the Civil Code of Quebec, for a reasonable duration depending on the nature of the good.
- In other provinces and territories: implied conditions of merchantable quality and fitness for purpose under provincial Sale of Goods Acts and consumer protection statutes.
7. Limits
Our warranty liability is limited to replacement or refund of the defective product. No indirect damages (downtime, loss of business, etc.) may be claimed.
